About the Instructor: Dr. Candace Ashby has more than 30 years of fire service experience and is a Battalion Chief with the Indianapolis Fire Department. Her educational background includes a doctorate of management in organizational leadership. Ashby is president of Key Fire Investigations and ELITE Public Safety Consulting. She enjoys having a positive effect on the fire service through coaching and mentoring other fire officers in all areas of management and leadership.
